Granted, we already posted Day 4 pictures but we couldn't miss out on Day 3. Here's how it went...
The breakfast at the Georgian has had high acclaim and it hasn't let us down. They provide a nice selection of pastries and cappucino. However, their juices and hot breakfast are exceptional. The team got up early on Day 3, had an awesome breakfast, but that was short lived...
Jet Lag Relapse
So, the part about us getting over jet lag. Well, it kind of caught up with us on the morning of Day 3! After breakfast, we all went to our room (in the Harry Potter Dungeon), Melissa closed the blinds, and the four of us passed out until Noon! So much for that day!
Wicked and Shopping
Melissa and Siena broke apart from the group and headed for shopping. The hit up many (many) London souvenir shops. Mara and Stephen went for a matinee of Wicked the musical near Victoria Station:
After the show, we headed to the Apollo Theater stage door to see what Actresses/Actors would come out:
Picture on the left is "Garlinda" or Glinda as she becomes in the musical. On the right is Fiyero (a.k.a. the Scarecrow). The musical certainly makes you think about different perspectives of history, tolerance, and acceptance. Mara absolutely loved the play!
Best Dinner Ever!
We went back to Carnaby for this evening and hit up Dishoom. They have multiple locations throughout central London but don't let that fool you, this is seriously some good grub. They advertise as "Bombay Street Food". Their drinks, food, and service are impeccable and highly recommend. We had different types of curries, sauces, raita and simply put, tasty! There are two lines for getting a table. The first, just to get a pager. The second to wait for your table. Honestly though, it's well worth the way. It didn't help that we went on a weekend night!
